somehow my dolls are off to an art gallery? things are proving to be changing faster than I can blink these days. since making the hats for Matt Phillips and the Philharmonic's kickstarter www.kickstarter.com/projects/m… I've been on the go! when the three hats were delivered to the band, they were at a funky little art gallery (Outsiders Art & Collectibles www.outsiders-art.com/). Well, two of the hats remained in the gallery, with proceeds from any sales going to the kickstarter, and one ended up as a gift for backing. someone has opted for that! SO happy for the band

well, one day I was in town looking at apartments (yes, that is part of the craziness going on). it was a Saturday, so the gallery was open and we decided to stop in for a look-see. met the owner of the gallery and showed her my work. she invited me to put my dolls in her very next show that is in two days, eek! the hardest internal struggle was putting my AFP doll in there. it's mainly because all items must be for sale. i DON'T want to sell her! but I do want to let people see my best. she's my very best. I ditched the yellow dress, though. once I put her altogether, it detracted from the good work. so she's there with only her corset and jacket on. still beautiful! IF she sells, she will be sorely missed, but I'm sure I can make another one. good thing is I bought a box of scraps from Kabriel and I was lucky to get one with more scraps from the Bottom Feeder train.
