I made two of these almost 10yrs ago. One of my aunts came for a visit and stayed in the room my mom keeps her afghan. My aunt fell in love with it, so my mom asked me to make one for her. I just remember it taking forever. I'm much more experienced now, so I decided to take on the challenge. The middle part took me four days to complete, but the outer edge took two weeks! The good thing is it wasn't torture, just time consuming. I might make one for myself now. Definite NOT in that color, though. I'm a bit sick of it, hee.
